Software service

CareUnion provides configurable healthcare-access and practice-automation software. It does not replace professional clinical judgement, provide diagnosis or emergency medical services, guarantee medical-aid reimbursement, or act as a full hospital/clinical-record system by default.

Clinic responsibility

A subscribing clinic is responsible for lawful use, authorised staff access, accurate practitioner/service/price/schedule configuration, clinical and medical-aid decisions, appropriate patient notices and its connected merchant/communication accounts where applicable.

Commercial model

The V1 model uses a free guided demo, paid onboarding, monthly subscriptions and optional add-ons. CareUnion takes 0% commission from practitioner consultation value. Third-party provider/usage costs remain separate unless the signed order form expressly includes them.

Patient payments

Clinics may launch with pay-at-clinic or no online-payment requirement. If online payment is enabled, it uses a validated provider/merchant arrangement configured for that clinic. CareUnion does not silently substitute test/fake providers or guarantee provider settlement.

Availability and integrations

External providers, networks and customer systems can fail or change. CareUnion uses controlled failure/retry/reconciliation patterns but does not falsely guarantee third-party availability or functionality that has not been production-validated.

Security and acceptable use

Clinic users must keep credentials private, use authorised accounts/roles and avoid placing unnecessary sensitive/clinical information into unsupported fields or support channels. Suspected security/privacy incidents must be escalated through the agreed contacts.

Data on exit

The architecture supports controlled export, retention and deletion subject to applicable law, signed terms, legitimate billing/audit obligations and technical backup limitations.

Jurisdiction and final contract

Customer-specific terms, privacy/data-processing roles, provider disclosures, tax/invoice wording, support commitments and jurisdiction-specific requirements are finalized in the signed commercial/legal package.
